A Chicago man is being held on a $750,000 bond for threatening Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

Prosecutors say 64-year-old King Heard made the threats during a call to 3-1-1 earlier this month.

Heard was convicted in 1991 for making similar threats against a public official.
