Tera Moody, a world-class elite runner from the Chicago area, was supposed to run but had to withdraw due to injury. She joined us live from the start line during our ABC7 News Sunday Morning. Moody is a two-time Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K champion (2007, 2010) and runner-up to Deena Kastor in 2009. She is originally from St. Charles, Ill., where she was a two-time state champion in the 1,600 meters and four-time all-state selection in cross country at St. Charles High School.
