The company spent Monday morning working to restore full service to its website. Weekend upgrades made accessing the site a problem for some of the bank's 17 million online users. This isn't the first time the Chase website has had issues.
In 2010, the Chase website experienced a major outage that lasted for more than a day. Parts of the bank's site were also shut down for upgrades for three days last year.
