The vandalism was discovered Wednesday just before 6 a.m. at the Anshe Emet Synagogue in the 3700-block of North Broadway.
Synagogue officials say surveillance video shows one person between 12:45 a.m. and 1 a.m. spraypainting anti-Semitic remarks on the side of the building.
The graffiti was found on the wall near the parking lot, the sidewalks and part of the building. Officials covered the markings before children arrived for school Wednesday morning.
