A new survey by Pew Research finds one in five Americans says they have recently read an e-book. That's roughly 21 percent of adults in the U.S.
The report called "The Rise of e-Reading" takes a look at the role e-books are playing in the changing book market.
The percentage of adults who own an e-reader nearly doubled over the holidays.
Around 17 percent of those surveyed had read an e-book as of December. That number jumped to 21 percent by February.
