Lemonade Day coming to Chicago

Lemonade stands are a popular business venture for children looking to raise a little cash. Now a national organization is using that as a model to help kids become successful entrepreneurs.

Prepared 4 Life announced Tuesday it will host the Chicago area's first ever Lemonade Day.

The program is free, but children must register to take part in lemonade day.

Those who register will be given a backpack filled with educational materials.

Lemonade Day registration events:

4/14: Orland Square Mall, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
4/15: Lincolnwood Town Center Mall 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
4/24: Glen Ellyn Public Library 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.
