WCL: Chicago Gala Season arrives!

Chicago Tribune Society Columnist Candace Jordan joins us to preview the spring gala season in Chicago! Here's her list of what's coming up in the next few weeks.

Saturday, April 28th
OMNI Youth Services hosts its 40th anniversary celebration, "An Evening of Laughs with Jay Leno" with opening act Second City, a premier comedy club. Tickets are $350 and performance only tickets are available for $150 and $135. At the Cadillac Palace Theatre, www.omniyouth.org

Thursday, May 3rd
"200 Million Reasons to Celebrate Women" Luncheon hosted by the Chicago History Museum Guild honoring 18 of the top Women's Board in the city and their contributions to our cities' arts and culture. At Chicago History Museum, 312.799.2113. Tickets are $200.

Sunday, May 6th
Joffrey 10th Anniversary Celebration Gala, Palmer House Hilton, begins with a performance at the Auditorium Theatre at 6:30, followed by Gala dinner, Arpino Angel Award presentation and Commemorative video salute. For the first time, we will partner with the Junior Auxiliary Board for a Grand Finale party following in the Empire Room to celebrate the end of the season for our dancers.
