Proceeds go to the Annual Fund, a charity that primarily funds the Y's Strong Kids campaign. The campaign conducts programs aimed at inner city and at-risk youth to provide an alternative to gangs and violence. Todd Baldi, Chicago Y Board of Directors, and Amanda Yeast, Executive Director of the Leaning Tower YMCA, joined us in our ABC7 studio to talk about the event. Registration for both the Tower Triathlon and the Youth Triathlon has been extended through Monday, May 14th, 2012.
