The fire department handed the investigation over to police Tuesday morning and officers were gathering evidence.
It was around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning when the home at 91st and Woodlawn was engulfed in flames. The fire was put out about an hour later.
The windows of the home were blown out and the flames caused damage to the neighboring homes as well.
No one was hurt.
neighbors say the people who live in the home moved out Monday night.
