Sleepwalking on the rise in the United States

A potentially dangerous sleep condition is on the rise.

More than 8 million people in the United States say they are sleepwalkers.

Researchers at Stanford say just over 3.5 percent of those in a recent study take a stroll during slumber, an increase over earlier studies.

Nearly one out of three Americans say they have been caught sleepwalking at least once. One possible factor is the increase in use of over-the-counter sleep aids.
