Robbers with knives, syringes hit Lincoln Park stores

At least five businesses have been hit since May 15 in the 1300- and 1200-block of West Fullerton, in the 1100-block and the 900-block of West Webster and in the 2000-block of North Clybourn.

Police are looking for a male and female suspect.

During these robberies, the offender enters the business and approaches the clerk, announces a robbery by showing the clerk a note which says the robber is armed with a syringe, knife or gun. A syringe or knife was displayed in two of the incidents.

Incident times and locations are listed below:
1300 Block of W. Fullerton Ave. on May 15 at approximately 5:28 p.m.
1100 Block of W. Webster Ave. on May 17 at approximately 4:50 p.m.
2000 Block of N. Clybourn Ave. on May 20 at approximately 11:00 a.m.
1200 Block of W. Fullerton Ave. on May 21 at approximately 9:15 a.m.
900 Block of W. Webster Ave. on May 22 at approximately 10:09 a.m.

The robbers are described as a white man, 25-30 years old, 5'8"-5'9", 150-180 lbs, who sometimes wears black sunglasses; and a white woman, 18-25 years old, with long blonde hair, 5'7", 130 lbs.
