Billy goat 'Wrigley' arrives at Friendly Confines

May 28, 2012 (CHICAGO)

"Wrigley" the goat, and his five handlers walked from Mesa, Arizona, to Chicago. Besides trying to crack the curse, the Cubs fans have raised more than $25,000 for cancer research. And on Tuesday they'll get another check- this one from the Cubs organization.

"Raising the money for cancer research, letting the goat see all the different parts of the country, like Route 66. The goat's helped us raise almost $25,000, and the Cubs are going to make a donation today. To me, that's respecting the goat. And I think that was part of the curse- not respecting the goat," said one of the Cubs fans.

The Cubs fans will also ask for cancer research donation outside the ballpark, setting up in the purple parking lot.

That's where the goat will be for the duration of the game. Wrigley won't be allowed inside the stadium.
