Police say the teen was walking in the 1000-block of North Lake Shore Drive at about 3:30 p.m. when two men approached and tried to lure her into a car. The girl ran to safety.
The driver is described as Hispanic, 20-25 years old, about 200 pounds, with long black hair worn in a shoulder-length ponytail. He had a rough beard, medium complexion and was wearing a white t-shirt.
The passenger is described as a 20-25-year-old Hispanic man as well, about 150 pounds, with black hair worn in a crew cut, side burns, a medium complexion and wore a white t-shirt.
The vehicle was an older-model white four-door SUV described as "boxy." It has tinted rear windows and several dents and scratches. The victim said she saw two bicycles in the back of the vehicle.
