Chicago police issued a community alert Friday after two incidents in which men tried to lure teenagers into cars on the city's North Side.

On May 25, a man tried to lure a 13-year-old girl who was walking to school into his vehicle near Larrabee and North Avenue. He offered the girl a ride to school. A sketch of that man was released. He is described as 30-40 years old, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, and 160-180 pounds. His front teeth are silver and he has tattoos on his face. He was driving a tan, 4-door vehicle with a red interior.

Just three days later, on May 28, two men in an SUV tried to lure another 13-year-old girl into getting into a car on the Gold Coast near Lake Shore Drive and Division.

In both incidents, the girls refused to get in the cars and the men drove off.
