Hoffman Estates father beats cancer -- twice!

Ray Summins thought his health battle was over when he beat skin cancer nearly a decade ago. In his late 40s with two young children, the Hoffman Estates dad couldn't have figured on osteosarcoma -- a rare bone cancer that usually affects adolescents.

But now, with the help of his children and proton radiation from a Warrenville clinic, he'll be celebrating Father's Day with a bright outlook for the future, after having beaten cancer twice.
