It happened just before 6 a.m. Sunday on Fullerton near Southport.
Police say the driver struck a garbage truck causing the truck to swerve and hit other parked cars and trees.
No one was badly injured but several of the parked car owners are now facing some unwanted repairs.
"Yeah, I got lucky," said Jan Vilches. "I have minor damage. It's fixable. I'm not like the guy in the red car."
So far no citations or charges have been filed.
