Justin Vocke of Lombard had his 206 Suzuki bike stolen from a parking lot on Tuesday.
The next day he was on Craig's List when he saw what appeared to be his motorcycle for sale.
The ad said it had no title or vehicle identification number.
Vocke called Lombard police who set up a sting.
They called the seller who agreed to meet them.
When he showed up 31-year-old Jason Schaffer of Burnham was arrested.
Schaffer has been charged with felony possession of a stolen vehicle and is being held on $250,000 bond.
