As part of her Joining Forces initiative, the first lady will be in Chicago on Tuesday. She'll join Illinois Governor Pat Quinn at Illinois National Guard Armory at a bill signing in support of military families.
The Military Family Licensing Act will allow military spouses and veterans to transfer their professional licenses to Illinois more easily.
This makes Illinois the 23rd state to adopt such legislation.
