Police say a Chevy Blazer going northbound on the Drive attempted to make a left turn onto Balbo and was struck by an Infiniti sedan. The Blazer then hit a Chicago Fire Department ambulance waiting at that intersection.
Five people were transported to area hospitals.
Police issued three citations to the driver of the Blazer, 26-year-old Robbie Mack of Niles.
