A brand-new exclusive ABC7 alarm app brings you the latest news, weather and traffic right when you wake up.
On the app's home screen are all of the morning's top stories, so you're up to speed with what's happening here in Chicago. You can share the stories with your friends on Twitter or Facebook, too.
On the upper right hand side of the home screen, there's local weather showing you what it's like where you are any time of day.
Just tap on the weather icon for a look at more details on today's and this week's weather.
At the bottom of this screen there's a live radar and the latest video forecast from Tracy and the ABC7 weather team.
Traffic is right at your fingertips, too. Just tap the traffic icon on the home page, then click on the map to see where there are slow spots and check out pictures from the traffic cameras.
But the coolest part of the app is the custom alarm tones featuring the ABC7 morning team.
Just select one of our ABC7 Chicago tones and we'll be your wake up call.
Here's how you set the alarm - first launch the app - and tap the alarm icon on the app's home screen.
Select "add alarm," enter the time you want to get up, choose your alarm sound and tap "save" in the upper right hand corner.
Once you've set the alarm, don't press the home button. Just tap "done" to get back to the home screen, plug it in and leave it open. The alarm will play in a loop until you shut it off.
