Starting Sunday, Indiana smokers will have fewer places to light up.

Gov. Mitch Daniels was to sign a statewide indoor smoking ban into law Sunday morning.

This bans smoking in all indoor public spaces, except bars, taverns, casinos, cigar and hookah bars, tobacco shops and cigar manufacturers.

Hoosiers can also smoke at private clubs, but only in designated rooms with separate ventilation systems.

There are 39 other states, including Illinois, already ban smoking in public spaces
