Extra firefighting crews were called in to help bring the fire under control.
The added help was a much needed relief as the crews struggled to remain hydrated and keep their equipment cool.
Fire officials say they have a plan in action to help deal with the heat, including hose lines and EMS teams to keep track of the firefighters.
Fire officials say the fire started in the attic, but no one was home.
None of the firefighters were injured in the fire or by the heat.
