Artificial jellyfish could lead to new heart treatments

A new bioengineered jellyfish could lead to new heart treatments for humans.

The researchers replaced jellyfish muscle with muscle from the heart of a rat. They also replaced the jelly with a silicone rubber substance.

Scientists say what they learned could help make artificial heart valves from a patient's own heart cells and tissue.
