2012 Valor Games

July 28, 2012 8:00:48 AM PDT
A unique event is just around the corner for all wounded, ill or injured veterans or active service members.

The second annual Valor Games Midwest (http://www.valorgamesmidwest.com) presented by World Sport Chicago (http://www.worldsportchicago.org) is the only competition of its kind in the Midwest. It will be at Soldier Field, U.S. Cellular Field and Armour Square Park in August 2012. Registration is closed for this year's event, but you can come watch and cheer on the athletes; entrance is free. Susan Katz, Director of Paralympic & Disability Sport, World Sport Chicago, and Howard D. Wilson, Marine Corps Veteran, joined us in our ABC7 studio to talk about the importance of the Valor Games.
