Joseph Merritt hosted a shooting event at his home in Green Garden Township on June 30. A stray bullet from the event ended up lodged in the bedroom closet of his neighbor's house.
Merritt has two weeks to comply with the judge's orders.
Merrit was not criminally charged in last month's incident. However, a hearing will be held in September to determine if he should have to pay a fine.
