From August 9th -12th, the annual festival returns to Taylor Street celebrating the history and heritage of Chicago's Historic Little Italy. Open to all ages, guests will be inspired to dress, eat, and speak like a true Italian for this fun-filled weekend! Featuring Taylor Street's renowned restaurants and live entertainment to the grape stomping competition and bocce ball tournament and highly anticipated Turano Baking Company and Fontanini Meatball Eating Contest, this popular Chicago festival draws more than 50,000 guests in four days. A fashion show will feature all local Italian designers and boutiques including Kate Boggiano, Cettina, Paul Sisti Creations, Mona Lisa Boutique and Silver Elements, a line from accessory designer Marla Lenza Zegart and The Lovehammers' Marty Casey!
Proceeds from the event will benefit the University Village Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving economic and residential development in the neighborhood. The University Village Association encourages and lends support to projects that assure the vitality and viability of the University Village area.
