Normally dad doesn't get to blame his expanding figure on the kids, but a new study has shown that parents actually eat more saturated fat than do people who don't have kids.

Researchers blame things like fast food stops after school to pick up a quick snack of fries or chicken fingers.

They say while it may be saving you time, high levels of saturated fats can lead to obesity, heart attacks, and high cholesterol.

The study published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
