JetBlue was fined for keeping passengers on a flight that was delayed at a gate for hours.

The airline will pay a $90,000 fine for violating the passenger bill of rights, which says airlines are required to tell passengers every 30 minutes they may leave a plane if the flight has been delayed at the gate for more than 30 minutes.

In March, a JetBlue flight at New York's JFK Airport didn't leave the gate until nearly three hours after boarding.
