Google offers cheaper Wi-Fi at Chicago airports

You won't find free Wi-Fi at Chicago airports, but the rate is being slashed through mid-October.

Internet access through Boingo costs $3.48 for 24 hours, thanks to a special offer from Google.

The regular rate is $6.95.

There is a catch, however. Users will have to watch a 30-second video sponsored by Google before gaining access.

The aviation department is still trying to work out open and free Wi-Fi with Boingo.
