Ex-Benet Academy president pleads guilty to obscenity charge

September 3, 2012 (LISLE, Ill.)

According to a release from Principal Stephen A. Marth's Office, Fr. Jude Randall worked at Benet Academy for more than 20 years. He turned in his resignation in April after the images were found and the police investigation began.

"... it is important to note that our own review of this matter and a five-month police investigation have found no evidence that Fr. Jude involved any students in his activities, shared the images with anyone else, or engaged in inappropriate behavior with students," according to the release at http://c.ymcdn.com/sites/www.benet.org/resource/resmgr/principal%27s_office/fr._jude_letter.pdf.

IMPORTANT CORRECTION: This story has been updated since its original publish date of Monday, September 3, 2012 at 11: 24 a.m. ABC 7 incorrectly reported the charges against Father Jude Randall.
