Chicago police have charged a man in a series of sexual assaults on the West Side.

Police say DNA evidence led them to 20-year-old Tyreese Richardson, of the 3200-block of West Fulton Blvd. He's accused of attacking three women between late July and early August.

Police say Richardson broke into homes and held his victims at knifepoint. He is expected to appear in bond court Wednesday. He faces three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and two counts of home invasion.

The incidents occurred in the 2700-blocks of Jackson and Adams, between July 27 and August 5. In one incident, police say Richardson took property from the victim.
