Police say a 25-year-old man was shot and killed on the 3200- block of West Lemoyne Street at just before midnight Thursday night.
Less than an hour later, officers spotted an SUV matching the description of a vehicle involved in the shooting. There was a brief chase until the driver struck a squad car at Central Park and North Avenue, which is just a few blocks from the shooting scene.
People in that vehicle were taken into custody.
