Women born premature more likely to deliver early

The risk almost doubled for mothers born before 32 weeks compared to full-term mothers. Those complications include, gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes and eclampsia and pre-eclampsia.

Due to improvements in medical care, many more premature babies are surviving into adulthood and having their own babies.

Authors say caregivers really need to take an expectant mom's pre-term birth into account when deciding on proper treatment.
