Police recover $100,000 in stolen property

Chicago Police recovered more than $100,000 in stolen property.

Officers from the 13th District checked up on some parolees when they received word about burglaries in the area.

They say Daniel Ramirez was behind the thefts.

He was charged with felony burglary.

Another man, Adam Salas, was busted for drug possession.

Police are asking people to come to the station in the 900 block of North Wood on Monday and Tuesday to pick up their merchandise.

Receipts or proof of ownership are needed to claim the property.
