Music Box hosts premiere of Scrooge and Marley

November 30, 2012 (CHICAGO)

The premiere took place at the Music Box Theatre where the film is now playing.

It was shot all around town last spring and features the talents of local performers and filmmakers.

Veteran actors David Pevsner and Tim Kazurinsky headline the cast.

They co-star with acclaimed comic and writer Bruce Vilanch, who started his career in Chicago and flew in especially for the debut.

Scrooge and Marley sets the classic tale to all new music providing a gay sensibility to the spirit of the season.

In addition to the Music Box, the movie will play at the Siskel Film Center in late December.
