Researchers analyzed 32 previous studies and found there would be a slight decline in consumption of fatty foods with each 1 percent price increase.
They also determined that a 10 percent increase in the price of soft drinks would decrease consumption by between 1 percent and 24 percent. The study appears in PLoS Medicine.
