Dixon auction selling off Rita Crundwell's saddle, other belongings

The U.S. Marshal's Service continued Sunday to auction off the belongings of former Dixon Comptroller Rita Crundwell.

Crundwell pleaded guilty to a scheme that siphoned off $53 million from the town and is awaiting sentencing.

Sunday, Crundwell's hand-crafted, limited edition saddle and the display podium on which it sits will be auctioned.

The U.S. Marshals service will sell the saddle along with several other Crundwell belongings starting Sunday night through Wednesday.
