Community activists and religious leaders are protesting the recent immigration raids in the Chicago and the suburbs.

Participants prayed for the families who have been separated because of the arrests.

They're calling on President Obama and Congress to stop deportations, pass a pathway to citizenship and reunite families.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement tells ABC7 it respects the rights of all people to voice their opinions without interference and it recognizes that the country's immigration system needs serious solutions.
