South Loop fears for safety after sexual assault

January 15, 2013 (CHICAGO)

This happened last Wednesday in the 1400 block of South Clark.

Investigators say the woman was attacked in front of her house by the man seen in this sketch.

The offender then stole her keys and robbed her home.

People attending a community CAPS meeting Tuesday in the neighborhood say they fear for their safety.

"We need to adjust always be aware. Not to fall into our routine of, what do we do with our phone, and it just looking and being vulnerable," said neighborhood resident Terri Buseman.

Police are advising people to stay safe by walking in groups whenever possible.
