Chicagoans head to DC for inauguration

Groups and people from Chicago who will join the festivities are packing up and heading for the capitol.

Jackie Greer is one 140 people traveling with Congressman Danny Davis by train from Chicago to Washington DC.

Greer went to President Obama's first inauguration with her mother Mary Greer.

Mary can't travel to Washington this year because of her health but she won't be missing out.

The South Shore Drill Team left for Washington Friday night to perform in the inaugural parade. They have spent hours practicing and want to represent Obama's hometown proudly.

The Soul Children of Chicago got on buses bound for Washington Thursday night.

The group will perform at the kids' concert Saturday night.
