Possible fried-food link to prostate cancer

Regular consumption of deep fried foods, like French fries, fried chicken and doughnuts, is liked to an aggressive version of prostate cancer. That's the result of a study at The Hutchinson Center's Program in Prostate Cancer Research.

The co-director of the center believes, when oil is heated to high temperatures, potentially carcinogenic compounds can form in fried food.

Previous studies have shown eating foods with high-heat cooking methods, like grilling meat, may increase prostate cancer.
