Black History Month Film Fest

The Chicago Urban League is kicking off its second annual film festival to engage the community in honoring the achievements of African Americans, examine current community challenges and explore strategic solutions that can lead to an empowered future.

The films and conversations that follow the screenings will give audiences an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue on issues including gun violence, the effects of poverty, healthy eating, and the challenges of urban youth.

All screenings are free, open to the public and will be shown at the Chicago Urban League, located at 4510 S. Michigan Avenue from 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM. To RSVP please email RSVP@thechicagourbanleague.org. All films will be followed by a panel discussion.
