Undocumented immigrants who were recently released from detention joined several advocacy groups outside the Broadview Detention Center.
The group prayed in both English and Spanish, and called for the Obama administration to stop deportations.
About 200 immigration activists rallied in downtown Chicago last month as President Barack Obama was sworn in for his second term. Obama said immigration reform remains an issue that needs attention.
