Ravinia 2013 lineup list: Matchbox Twenty, David Byrne & St. Vincent, and Josh Groban debut; Sting, Sheryl Crow, and Tony Bennett return to Chicago stage

The outdoor music venue just outside Chicago runs from June 6 to September 15, 2013. Ravinia is the oldest music festival in North America.

New to Ravinia in 2013: Matchbox Twenty, Goo Goo Dolls, Melissa Etheridge, Josh Groban, Alabama, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Journey, Darius Rucker, Celtic Woman, David Byrne & St. Vincent, Smash Mouth, Rodney Atkins, Sugar Ray, Jana Kramer, Jewel, Paula Cole, Gin Blossoms, Gary Sinise and The Lt. Dan Band, Vertical Horizon, Heart, Fastball, Aaron Diehl, Alejandro Escovedo, and Brian Wilson with Al Jardine and David Marks

Repeat performers who will return in 2013: Sting, Sheryl Crow, Chicago, Don McLean, Go-Go's, Gipsy Kings, Jackson Browne, Joan Baez, John Hiatt, Indigo Girls, Los Lonely Boys, Robert Cray, The B-52s, Willie Nelson, Ramsey Lewis, Los Lobos, Tony Bennett, James Hunter, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Lyle Lovett, Anita Baker, George Thorogood, Buddy Guy, Steely Dan, Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson, return to the festival

Also, Ravinia is in its 78th summer residency with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, where 2,500 pavilion seats are priced at just $25 each. Highlights for the CSO 2013 Ravinia program include a CSO's live performance of The Lord of the Rings- The Two Towers as the movie is shown.
