Skydiver survives parachute malfunction

March 14, 2013 (LODI, Calif.)

It's all because of a parachute malfunction. It apparently deployed too fast, sending Craig Stapleton spinning through the air.

Desperate to fix things, Stapleton deployed his reserve chute, only to get stuck in the already tangled one.

He had a hard landing in a grape vineyard and barely missed some iron stakes. But this lucky guy walked away from the scene with merely a dislocated shoulder and some bumps and bruises.
