Study: Whole milk doesn't add pounds for kids

A study found that giving children low-fat milk may not necessarily help them keep their weight down.

Researchers studied more than 10,000 children and found those who drink 1 percent or skim milk are actually more likely to be overweight.

Experts say they have a possible explanation. Those who drink whole milk may feel fuller and eat less during the day.

The study is published in the Archives of Disease in Childhood.
