Abdul Wilobo lives in the city's North Park neighborhood in the 5200-block of North Spaulding, according to authorities.
He went missing over the weekend, but was located Monday. Police said he was safe and back home with his family.
An alert issued by Chicago police went Wilobo went missing indicated the boy likes to take long walks. He also has been missing before and has been located previously in the areas of Irving Park and Pulaski, Peterson and California and Lawrence and Central Park.
