Children removed from home after DCFS child abuse investigation

Four children were removed from their home at 82nd and Ellis in the Chatham neighborhood.

Charges have been filed after the Department of Children and Family Services investigated allegations of abuse involving four children on Chicago's South Side.

The father of one of the children, 28-year-old Edwin Anderson. is charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

The children were removed from their home at 82nd and Ellis in the Chatham neighborhood.

Investigators were called to the home Tuesday night about a domestic dispute. They found three girls and a boy, ranging in age from six-months to 4-years-old. Police say two had visible bruises.

All four children were taken to hospitals as a precaution.
