The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood. Authorities say two cars collided with a number 66 bus at North Pulaski and West Chicago Avenue.
Five bus passengers and the bus driver were hurt.
Two other passengers, one from each car, also were injured.
All eight people were taken to Chicago-area hospitals.
There was no immediate word on what caused that crash.
