Ashland Avenue in Chicago will be the next city street to have a bus-only lane.

The CTA and the city plan to have a bus-only center lane that would run from 95th street to Irving Park Rd.

The $160 million plan also includes new bus stops, surrounded by landscaped medians to shield pedestrians from traffic. New technology would be installed to give buses more green lights to make it through intersections faster.
